Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a construction background and experience managing low-voltage and technology scopes of work within complex construction environments, particularly healthcare facilities.
This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of technology infrastructure and low-voltage systems including fire alarm, building automation (BAS/BMS), structured cabling, network infrastructure, security systems, nurse call, and other integrated building technologies.
The ideal candidate brings a strong construction project management background with exposure to one or more of the following systems:

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution

Manage low-voltage and technology-related scopes within healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Coordinate project teams including internal staff, subcontractors, vendors, and general contractors.

Oversee project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
-
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Subcontractor & Vendor Management
-
Manage subcontractor performance, coordination, scheduling, and deliverables.
-
Participate in subcontractor bid reviews and scope alignment during preconstruction.

Assist with subcontractor negotiations and procurement.
Technology Integration
-
Coordinate installation and integration of low-voltage systems including:

Fire alarm systems
-
BAS / building automation systems
-
Structured cabling and network infrastructure
-
Access control, CCTV, and security systems
-
Nurse call, paging, and hospital communication technologies
-
DAS and wireless infrastructure
-

Work with design teams, consultants, and IT stakeholders to ensure proper system integration.
Construction Coordination

Collaborate with general contractors and site teams to align technology scopes with the master construction schedule.

Conduct site walks and coordination meetings to ensure proper installation sequencing.

Identify potential risks, conflicts, or constructability issues early.
Financial & Contract Management

Review project budgets, track costs, and manage financial performance.

Evaluate and process change orders and scope adjustments.

Support project forecasting and financial reporting.
Safety & Compliance

Promote and support a strong safety culture consistent with OSHA standards and company policies.

Ensure all project work complies with healthcare facility regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications

Construction project management experience required.

Experience managing low-voltage or technology systems within construction projects.

Exposure to systems such as fire alarm, BAS/BMS, structured cabling, networking, security systems, or healthcare technology systems.

Experience working in healthcare, commercial, or institutional construction environments preferred.

Strong understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project financial management.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technology plans.
