About the Opportunity
A growing global organization is seeking an HR Coordinator to support its Talent Acquisition and Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone with recruiting coordination or HR experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and talent operations.
Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting by creating job requisitions, posting positions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate approvals.
- Coordinate pre-employment, onboarding, and new hire orientation activities, including background checks, drug screenings, employment documentation, and HRIS data entry.
- Process employee separations and assist with leave administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR workflows, and required documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate exit interviews, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and immigration-related documentation.
- Support employee training records and performance review administration.
- Assist with career fairs and other recruiting initiatives.
- Serve as a primary HR contact by managing the HR inbox, responding to employee inquiries, and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and company events.
- Occasionally travel between South Florida office locations to provide on-site HR support.
- Support special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2+ years of Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or HR Administration experience
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding processes
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with an HRIS such as Workday or similar systems is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
