Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new delivery program launching in the area. In this role, you will be instrumental in recruiting local businesses to join the Hub delivery partner program. Working closely with a Field Manager and other contractors, your responsibilities will include visiting prospective businesses, pitching the program, qualifying potential partners, and guiding them through the application process. You will also drive referrals through community organizations and coordinate recruitment events. This position involves travel within a two-hour driving distance and offers the potential to earn commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns up to one hour driving distance.
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to generate interest and applications from prospective businesses.
  • Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events such as lunch and learns and townhall meetings.
  • Collaborate with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets and enter activity into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Experience in outside/field sales is required.
  • CRM experience is required, with a preference for Salesforce.

  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities for field applicants.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in multiple systems and technology.
  • Ability to travel up to two hours round-trip daily.

Work Environment

The position supports the Anchorage market and involves working in the field 3-5 days a week. There is a balance between fieldwork and home-based follow-up and administrative tasks. The role includes uncapped commission opportunities, mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile, and a $50 monthly phone expense. This is a chance to build community partnerships with small businesses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
