ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a training leader with deep insurance knowledge and a passion for education? A highly respected and financially strong insurance organization—serving a specialized niche market—is seeking a strategic and hands-on Assistant Education Director to help shape the future of learning across its growing enterprise.
This is a confidential role ideal for a dynamic insurance professional with experience developing training programs, managing educational certifications, and guiding learners across a diverse audience. You’ll be instrumental in building technical education, continuing education (CE) curriculum, and credential programs that support an evolving and regulation-sensitive market.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and support the development of internal and external training content and certification initiatives.
Review and enhance existing educational programs to improve effectiveness, engagement, and compliance.
Oversee daily training operations and collaborate closely with subject matter experts and department heads.
Monitor evolving industry trends, regulations, and client needs to align learning solutions accordingly.
Deliver impactful, audience-specific training sessions in both virtual and in-person formats.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Strong technical insurance knowledge, especially within commercial auto.
A solid understanding of regulatory compliance and industry training requirements.
Proven experience building or contributing to continuing education programs and credentialing initiatives.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and group moderation skills.
At least 2+ years of training experience.
A strategic mindset with the ability to balance content creation, delivery, and operational excellence.
