HR Benefits Admin Contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Benefits Admin (contract) to support our Human Resources team with benefits administration. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of employee benefits, including enrollments, audits, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR benefits administration, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration & Enrollment
- Assist with the new hire benefits enrollment process, including ADP system registration.
- Process and monitor benefits enrollments and changes.
- Ensure employees receive their insurance cards and benefits-related documentation.
- Track and manage Health Savings Account (HSA) deduction changes.
- Support employees with Qualifying Life Event (QLE) assistance.
401(k) Administration & Audits
- Prepare and submit the weekly 401(k) submission report.
- Conduct beneficiary and loan audits to ensure compliance.
- Assist employees with 401(k) account creation, rollovers, distributions, and general inquiries.
- Reconcile invoices and ensure accuracy in 401(k) contributions.
Benefits Compliance & Audits
- Perform enrollment audits for insurance providers.
- Conduct audits of domestic partner benefits.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations related to employee benefits.
Leave of Absence (LOA) & FMLA Administration
- Assist with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork and processing.
- Ensure timely collection of LOA forms and proper documentation.
- Track and follow up on employee return-to-work status.
- Generate and distribute benefits owed letters, following up as necessary.
- Coordinate LOA-related payroll deductions and ensure accurate processing.
- Provide employees with clear guidance and information regarding leave policies.
