Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available serving K-8 students in a diverse school setting in Philadelphia, PA. This travel position offers the unique chance to work with a range of disabilities, including some non-verbal students, providing comprehensive speech and language support across multiple academic years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication goals.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into the educational environment.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
  • Provide support during Extended School Year (ESY) programming along with the current and upcoming school years.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working with K-8 students, including those with a variety of disabilities.
  • Strong skills in supporting non-verbal students and adapting communication strategies.
  • Ability to travel to assigned school locations within Philadelphia.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to foster collaboration with school staff and families.
