Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist experienced in school settings, providing specialized support to students with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students occupational therapy needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and modify classroom environments as needed.
  • Document therapy sessions and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in the state of Minnesota.
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and educational frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required between multiple school sites or districts.

  • The position is based in Byron, MN, serving local schools with some travel involved to support surrounding educational facilities.
