Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-8 students in a contract role within a dedicated school setting in Burton, MI. This position offers a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week, focusing on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion.
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies and assistive technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations.
