Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer specializing in Automation to support internal equipment, which will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, particularly with custom automated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot internal equipment regularly on the floor.
- Program PLCs using Siemens or Rockwell Automation.
- Develop HMI/SCADA with WinCC or Ignition.
- Engage in Robotics programming, specifically with Fanuc.
- Design and interpret AutoCAD Electrical schematics.
- Work with controls hardware such as sensors, remote IO, servos, VFDs, machine vision, and barcode readers.
- Employ industrial networking protocols like Profinet and EtherCAT.
- Travel up to 25% for equipment installation and commissioning at various locations.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering for custom automated equipment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens primary, Rockwell Automation secondary).
- Experience with Robotics programming (Fanuc).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA development (WinCC primary, Ignition secondary).
- Knowledge of controls hardware and industrial networking protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls and Computer Control Systems, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical schematic design is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for installation and commissioning.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
