JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Manager this role will be utilizing the Bruckner’s Core Values to sell all Bruckner Truck Sales products by applying technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and align our products and services with customer needs. This results in both revenue generation for the company and exceptional service for our customers. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

Planning

· Identify and profile prospective customers and develop strategic plans to secure sales opportunities.

· Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and territory planning.

· Coordinate with internal departments to align sales plans with broader company goals and market penetration efforts.

Operations

· Sell medium/heavy-duty zero-emission and alternative fuel trucks, trailers, and related components by leveraging product knowledge and customer-focused strategies.

· Call on prospective customers and manage assigned accounts within the designated territory.

· Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions aligned with Bruckner’s offerings.

· Document all sales activities and customer interactions in the company's CRM system.

· Stay current on new products and industry developments that may enhance the sales process or provide added value to customers.

· Collaborate with parts, service, and new and used truck sales teams to ensure a unified and comprehensive approach to market coverage.

Reporting

· Provide regular reports on competitive activity, customer feedback, and market trends.

· Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and prospect development in CRM and other internal systems.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

· A minimum high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in medium- or heavy-duty truck sales.

· Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or be able to obtain one within 60 days, if required for customer demos involving Class 8 vehicles.

· Experience using computers, phones, and CRM software for managing sales activities and customer relationships.

· Strong understanding of truck specifications and the ability to prepare detailed sales quotes.
