We are seeking a Front Office/Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This is a full time position with an immediate opening. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be available to work some closing shifts, weekends and some holidays. Responsibilities: (Include, but not limited to)
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Verify Insurance
- Answer Phone calls
- Assist with Back office
- Injections
- Blood Draws
- Ear Lavages
- EKGS
- Rapid Testing
- UA's and Pregnancy Testing
- COVID Testing
- Assist provider with procedures
- Scanning and attaching documents
- Collect patient copays
- Clean Instruments
- Sterilize exam rooms and work stations
- Perform audits
- Review SB's
- Be able to lift 22 lbs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with medical terminology
- CPT Codes familiarity
- Excellent Communication skills (Both written and Verbal)
- Bilingual a plus
