Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility | Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

We are seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), with strong potential for a temp-to-permanent placement. This role offers flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules and is well suited for candidates looking to grow into a long-term position.

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm preferred)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents’ independence with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Document patient treatments and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care
  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Active state COTA license
  • New graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience are welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Certifications:

  • Current COTA certification as required by state regulations
