What You'll Do:

  • Develop and Execute: Create strategic sales plans that align with both client and company goals.
  • Innovate and Grow: Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Sell Integrated Solutions: Offer comprehensive advertising solutions, including audio, digital, and event sponsorships.
  • Collaborate and Succeed: Work with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Analyze and Report: Monitor sales performance and provide insights to leadership.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in media sales, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, a proven track record of meeting sales goals, and a strong understanding of audio and digital media.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Driven and Organized: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in broadcast media and existing relationships with key advertisers.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including programmatic advertising and social media campaigns.
  • Familiarity with FCC regulations and advertising compliance.

Physical Demands & Work Conditions:

  • Office-based with a mix of in-person and virtual client meetings.
  • Occasional travel for client visits.
  • Flexible hours to meet client needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. for promotional materials and event setup.

  • Primarily based in a broadcast studio, newsroom, or digital media production space.
  • Occasional fieldwork for live reporting, interviews, or event coverage, which may include outdoor settings in varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent use of computers, video editing software, and production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • May require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts depending on news cycles, production schedules, and live streaming demands.
  • Tight deadlines and breaking news situations may necessitate extended hours and quick turnaround times.
  • Fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during live broadcasts and breaking news events.
  • Must be able to multitask, manage last-minute script changes, and adapt quickly to technical or editorial adjustments.
  • Regular interaction with producers, reporters, camera operators, and digital media teams.
  • May require remote collaboration with contributors, guests, and content partners.
