Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s team, which is based in Lenox, MI. This is a Full-time, 30 weeks contract.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I to join our client’s Lab in Lenox, MI. In this role, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service while collecting blood samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. You will work in a clinical setting with a focus on quality, confidentiality, and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and forensic blood specimen collection.
- Prepare and label specimens for testing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Follow established protocols and procedures under the direction of the area supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
- At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience (REQUIRED); 1+ year preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills across age groups, including pediatric and geriatric.
- Keyboard/data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional weekends, holidays, or overtime.
Additional Information:
- Location: Lenox, MI
- Job Type: 30-wks contract
- Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour
- Shifts: Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
