Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry advancements.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Monitor patient responses to therapy and report any changes.

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment processes and expectations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in radiation therapy.

• Assist in the development of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care.

• Utilize performance metrics to assess and improve treatment effectiveness.

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance treatment delivery.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid radiation therapy certification and state licensure for practice.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in administering radiation therapy in a clinical setting.

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in radiation therapy.

• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members.

• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to monitor and report patient responses to therapy effectively.

• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Understanding of quality assurance practices in healthcare.

• Willingness to evaluate and implement new radiation therapy technologies.
