Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare team
- Educate patients and families on disease process, treatment, and self-care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR system
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
- Current RN license
Unit Details:
- Oncology unit with Epic EMR system
- 24-hour orientation program
