Job DescriptionPart-Time RN - Float Pool, Night Shift Overview:
This part-time night shift Registered Nurse operates within a float pool, delivering patient care across multiple hospital departments, including Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg). Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, ensuring confidentiality, and upholding nursing standards and organizational principles. This role provides avenues for skill enhancement, collaboration, and professional advancement within our organization.

Employing the Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing processes, you will provide exceptional patient care. You will be accountable for the care of your assigned patients and will collaborate with various departments to coordinate their care. Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality is paramount. You will operate within the boundaries of your nursing education and in alignment with established nursing guidelines, the objectives of our organization, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct. Position Highlights:
- Night Shift Sign-On Bonus:
- Graduate Nurse: $10,000
- Experienced Nurse: $13,000
- Float Pool RN: 24 hours per week, Night Shift
- Location: Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO 63028

Qualifications:
Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
