Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Trust Fund Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting specific trust fund accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing excellent service to our employer partners. Your work will include processing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing processes—all while interacting directly with employers and providers to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accounting records for employers, members, and dependents, recording and reconciling daily payment receipts, tracking pending and retro payments, processing provider payments via wire transfer, managing new employer setup and secure portal access, generating monthly invoices, and reconciling discrepancy reports. You will also support month-end closing procedures, respond to employer inquiries, and ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should have an AS/AA degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of accounts receivable experience. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required, along with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Word and Outlook. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, can perform accurate mathematical computations, and demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight monthly and annual deadlines is essential.
