Job DescriptionAssembler – Build High‑Quality Equipment for Data Centers & Custom Projects
Join a fast‑growing manufacturing team that builds precision chiller units for data centers and custom engineered equipment. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work with tools, assemble high‑quality products, and support a clean, efficient production floor. What You’ll Do
- Assemble chiller units by following detailed work instructions and build specs
- Use hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Prep, shrink‑wrap, and package materials or completed units for shipping
- Support general shop operations, including sweeping and maintaining a clean workspace
- Assist with material handling and production flow
- Collaborate with a small, supportive assembly team to meet daily goals
- Cross‑train into custom unit assembly and other manufacturing processes over time
- Contribute to continuous improvement with a positive, team‑oriented mindset
Shifts
First Shift
Mon–Thu: 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Fri: 5:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m.
• One 30‑min lunch + two paid 10‑min breaks
Second Shift
Mon–Thu: 2:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m.
• One 30‑min lunch + two paid 10‑min breaks
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (sheet metal or mechanical assembly preferred)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Basic understanding of assembly processes
- Ability to read work instructions, specs, and simple blueprints
- Reliable work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work area
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Sheet metal fabrication or mechanical assembly experience
- HVAC or related manufacturing experience
- Basic electrical knowledge (reading schematics, simple wiring)
- Experience working with sheet metal components
- Comfort using a variety of shop tools and equipment
- Positive attitude and interest in long‑term career growth

Work Environment
You’ll work in a brand‑new, climate‑controlled facility with high ceilings, natural light, and dedicated machine and assembly areas. The team is small, close‑knit, and supportive, with a casual dress code (steel‑toe boots required). The company currently operates in Maple Grove and will transition assemblers to a new Dayton facility once it opens, supporting both HVAC and data center product lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
