We are an export company seeking an Office Administrator to join our dynamic team!
Job requirements:
- U.S. Work Authorization (Required)
- Working experience with QuickBooks, SAGE or SAP (all levels) (Required)
- Working experience with Account Receivable / Account Payables Bookkeeping (Required)
- Microsoft Office; Excel (Required)
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Associate’s degree (Preferred)
- The candidate must be a self-motivated, with strong organizational skills, teamwork driven and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and think creatively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities based on importance as required.
- Excellent data entry, and basic- medium accounting skills.
- Basic financial knowledge (preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Record monthly adjusting journal entries.
- Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts, including researching account discrepancies.
- Assist in financial statement preparation by generating reports from accounting software.
- Allocate credit card expenses.
- Email account statements for collection
- Organize incoming mail and account statements; maintain both electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with the preparation of supporting documentation for annual tax filings.
- Support other accounting and finance functions and projects as needed.
