Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:
\n
• Work 5x8 day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
\n• 2 years minimum experience required with 1 year hospital-based experience preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted but must have 2 years of field experience
\n• Required certifications: ARRT N OR NMTCB (CNMT) and BLS
\n• Must have DC license in hand at time of submission
\n• Equipment experience required: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba
\n• Procedure skills required: HIDA Scan, Bone Scan, Lung Scan, Thyroid Studies
\n• Must be able to start and maintain peripheral IVs
\n• Knowledge required in isolation precautions and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
\n• Must have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine theory and techniques
\n• Radiation safety practices knowledge required
\n• Good knowledge of specialized and complex Molecular Imaging procedures needed
\n• Ability to work under stressful and emergent situations
\n• Effective communication skills required
\n• Charting system: Cerner
\n• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract

The facility provides comprehensive medical services and maintains advanced nuclear medicine capabilities with modern equipment and specialized imaging procedures.
