This role employs the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be accountable for the care provided to your assigned patients and will assess the effectiveness of care delivered by other healthcare providers. Collaboration with various departments to coordinate patient care is essential. Upholding patient rights and maintaining confidentiality of patient information are critical responsibilities. Position Details:
- Emergency Department Graduate Nurse Residency - 16 Week Program
- Full-Time Night Shifts
- 7 AM - 7 PM
- 3 shifts of 12 hours each
- Next Residency Start Date: Summer 2026
About Us: Our facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center, equipped to handle the most complex and critical medical situations. We feature an Adult Emergency Room with dedicated triage and waiting areas, along with over 20 treatment rooms. Additionally, we have a pediatric ER designed specifically for children and families, complete with separate triage, waiting, and treatment spaces.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, adhering to all state board of nursing regulations.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
