Summary/Objective: Luxury Backyard Living/Temo, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Construction Management and has hands-on experience coordinating construction crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. This role serves as the critical link between the project management team and field operations, facilitating clear communication, efficient scheduling, and high-quality results.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily construction activities and site operations.
  • Supervise subcontractors, trades, and labor crews to ensure work aligns with project plans and safety regulations.
  • Serve as the point of contact between field operations and project management.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to provide direction to field personnel.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules and ensure milestones are met.
  • Order, track, and manage delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety regulations.
  • Conduct quality control checks and address issues proactively.
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders and team.
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, including logs, reports, permits, applications and inspection records.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a construction coordination, site management, or foreman role
  • College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred
  • High School or equivalent degree, required.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance.

Work Environment:

  • The position will be in an office setting that will oversee the project life cycle.
