ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team and support the dynamic growth of our operations in Columbus, Ohio, US. This pivotal role will involve overseeing various aspects of our facility's operations and spearheading special projects to drive innovation and efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the Warehouse Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all aspects of the local facility operations and maintain effective communication with partner facilities within Debrand's service offering umbrella.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff across various levels of the operational team to ensure a high-performing workforce while adhering to safety standards.

Collaborate with Debrand's Sales and Solutions divisions to meet the needs of clients and vendors, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Implement, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement.

Work closely with the Senior Vice President of Strategic Projects to implement new systems, equipment, hardware, and software to enhance operational efficiency.

Proactively monitor the health of operations and communicate with senior management or other departments as needed to address challenges and opportunities.

Foster a safe, fun, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.

Support all building and equipment maintenance programs, as well as facility and equipment upgrade to ensure operational readiness.

Ensure company policies, including operational, safety, regulatory, and administrative policies, are effectively communicated, applied, and enforced.

Maintain and improve metrics, reports, process documentation, training materials, and safety records to uphold operational standards.

Collaborate and build relationships with diverse teams at all levels, both internally and externally.

Conduct and participate in regular operational reviews and strategic planning sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives forward.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Demonstrated proficiency in project management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Experience in logistics management, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, is highly desirable.

Experience driving forklifts is a plus.
