We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our established periodontal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist looking for a flexible schedule and a supportive clinical environment while providing specialized periodontal care.
Our team prioritizes collaboration and efficiency. Hygienists are supported by a dedicated dental assistant for charting, suction, and operatory turnover, allowing you to focus on patient care.
Schedule
- Flexible days and hours
- Typical shift: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM
- 2–3 days per week (additional hours available if desired)
Responsibilities
- Perform periodontal maintenance cleanings
- Conduct scaling and root planing (SRP) when appropriate or if interested
- Assess periodontal health and document findings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and periodontal disease management
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Collaborate with the periodontist and dental team to ensure excellent patient care
Clinical Environment
- One hour scheduled per periodontal maintenance appointment
- Dedicated dental assistant support for charting, suction, and room turnover
- Team-focused office that values efficiency and patient comfort
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license
- Strong attention to detail and patient care
- Comfortable working in a periodontal environment (experience preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
