The ideal candidate will have experience running a mixing console for a live radio talk show, editing audio, and producing audio content. The candidate must be able to multitask and perform well under pressure. Experience working with Axia Audio equipment is a strong plus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Run mixing console for nationally syndicated, live radio broadcast
- Manage online stream for all audio content
- Produce audio elements for radio and online stream
- Record and edit audio, including mixing with music bed for promotions
- Monitor multiple network audio feeds
- Manage and post content to podcast site
- Manage content for radio program and commentary on ministry FTP site
- Create archive and post digital backups to cloud server
- Produce reports on listening audience, compiling information from stream and podcast servers
- Produce daily commentary for air on radio stations and as digital download from website
- Troubleshoot solutions for technical problems and coordinate with engineer and other outside sources to resolve issues quickly
- Oversite for talk studio to ensure it is properly prepared for the program each day
Requirements:
- Must be creative, extremely detail-oriented and have very strong problem-solving and communications skills
- Able to operate well under pressure and to do so with a professional attitude
- Experience running mixing console
- Familiarity with operating a Microsoft Windows computer
- Familiarity with operating a Linux computer
- Demonstrated competence with Adobe Audition audio editor
- Experience with automation software preferably Rivendell by Paravel Systems
- Experience with audio production work
- Technical Understanding of audio levels, compression, and equalization
