Job DescriptionNOW HIRINGTherapistDelaware County Victim Assistance Center (DCVAC)Delaware County, PA • Non-Profit • Flexible Schedule (Including Evenings)Delaware County Victim Assistance Center (DCVAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support to victims of crime. If you’re a compassionate clinician who wants to use your skills to help survivors heal and reclaim their lives—this role is for you. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team that works tirelessly to ensure every individual receives the care and resources they need to move forward.What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized, trauma-informed treatment plans for victims of crime.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Facilitate support groups and educational workshops for clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care across legal, social, and health services.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate case notes and documentation in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Travel locally to schools, hospitals, and police departments as needed to meet clients where they are.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
  • Licensed or license-eligible as a therapist in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing therapy or counseling services.
  • Clinical expertise in crisis intervention and short- and long-term therapy for individuals and/or families.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally competent service delivery.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate client treatment plans independently and as part of a team.
