Dyne Fire Protection Labs is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for testing and reporting results for a variety of fire protection materials, including firefighting foam, antifreeze solutions, dry chemical agents, and fire sprinklers. The position offers a dynamic workweek, rotating between testing in the foam and fire sprinkler laboratories, with the opportunity to occasionally support internal research projects either independently or as part of a group.
- Perform routine analytical laboratory tests in accordance with established test procedures.
- Assist with laboratory administrative tasks as needed.
- Support internal research projects as assigned.
- Rotate among multiple workstations and assist with other duties as communicated by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or prior laboratory technician experience (preferred).
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience (preferred).
- Understanding of basic chemical concepts and properties.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with numerical data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 7 hours per day.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and projects.
- Willingness to follow ISO 9001 and 17025 standards.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.
- Pay: $22.00 per hour.
