As a Permanent Project Manager in the Construction industry, you will be stepping into a role that is pivotal to our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from inception to completion. This is a dynamic role that will see you managing resources, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
As the Permanent Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and defining the scope of construction projects in collaboration with senior management.
2. Developing detailed project plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
3. Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
4. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget.
5. Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
7. Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
8. Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
9. Successfully managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
10. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
11. Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
12. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager role will have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in project management in the construction sector.
3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and web technologies.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
8. Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
9. Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
10. Competency in construction, project management, and team management.
11. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
12. A team player with leadership abilities.
13. Punctuality and strong work ethics are a must.
