Seeking an experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations in a healthcare facility located in Lebanon, IN. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to manage pharmacy services, provide strategic direction, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Manage pharmacy staff performance, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding pharmacy practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient care.
- Monitor budgets, inventory, and procurement of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote safe medication use throughout the facility.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as Director of Pharmacy or similar leadership role in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing diverse pharmacy teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and lead through transitional periods as an interim leader.
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state or eligible for licensure in Indiana.
