We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join a Finance Team. The Customer Service Specialist supports day-to-day customer interactions, order-related updates, and accurate record maintenance while helping keep projects on track. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working across spreadsheets, CRM tools, and standard office applications. This opportunity also offers room to expand into analytical support as business needs evolve.
The Customer Service Specialist needs to be very good with data, keeping tasks and projects updated and could move into another position eventually within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on project and order status through phone, email, and system records.
• Enter and maintain customer, order, and project information with a high level of accuracy across company databases and CRM platforms.
• Handle inbound inquiries professionally, resolve routine service issues, and escalate more complex concerns when appropriate.
• Use Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to track activities, organize information, and prepare status reports.
• Maintain clear documentation in HubSpot and related systems to support smooth communication and follow-through.
• Monitor open tasks closely, prioritize daily assignments effectively, and ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
• Review data for completeness and accuracy, identifying inconsistencies and supporting basic analysis when needed.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order support, or a similar administrative role.
• Strong data entry skills with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, for tracking and organizing information.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot for maintaining customer and activity records.
• Ability to manage inbound calls and written communication in a clear and service-focused manner.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to stay on top of multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Dependable work habits and a proactive approach to completing assignments with minimal oversight.
