At Queen City Running Company, we are more than a specialty running store, we are a central hub for the local running and walking community, as well as a trusted resource for customers seeking high-quality footwear for work, wellness, and medical needs. From group runs and training programs to race day and everyday movement, our mission is to help people move and feel their best.
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is creative, organized, and passionate about storytelling to help elevate and grow the Queen City Running Company brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Assist with email marketing campaigns
- Lead social media content creation and posting
- Help manage website updates and promotional banners
- Assist with digital advertising coordination (Google, Meta)
Retail & In-Store Marketing
- Coordinate in-store signage and promotions
- Support seasonal marketing campaigns
- Assist stores with promotional materials
Event & Community Marketing
- Help promote group runs, training programs, and community events
- Assist with race and expo marketing materials
- Support partnerships with local organizations and running groups
Brand & Content
- Assist with product launches and promotions - work in partnership with brand reps.
- Help develop marketing assets such as graphics, flyers, and social media posts
- Maintain consistency with Queen City Running Company’s brand voice and visuals
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with a creative and detail-oriented mindset
- Proficiency of Shopify or ability to learn the system
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools
- Passion for community engagement; interest in running, walking, or an active lifestyle is a plus
- Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and contribute new ideas

Schedule & Compensation
This role may be structured as part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.
Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Competitive base salary

- Paid time off and flexible scheduling
- Travel required (day & overnight trips from time to time to the other two locations)
