Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment is based near the West Valley City, UT area, running from July 28, 2026, through May 26, 2027.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification
- Experience working with students in a Life Skills or similar special education setting
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Compassionate approach and commitment to fostering inclusive classrooms
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct instruction and support to Life Skills students, grades K-3
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Adapt general education lessons to accommodate individual learning styles
- Collaborate with school staff, paraprofessionals, and families to maximize student success
- Track student progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment conducive to positive learning
