Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
Ability to excel in a team-oriented, student-centered workplace
Genuine enthusiasm for working with diverse learners and supporting their growth

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to determine students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational participation
Collaborate with teaching staff and other specialists to incorporate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
Document progress and prepare clear, thorough reports for IEP meetings and parent communications
Provide direct and consultative services within the classroom and one-on-one settings
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support holistic student development
Offer ongoing education and strategies to teachers and caregivers to foster skill-building outside of therapy sessions
