Job DescriptionJob Title: Neurodiagnostic Technologist I (Full-Time, Day Shift)

Location: Portland, OR

Sign-On Bonus:
$8,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions of payment, in addition to a comprehensive benefits and compensation package starting on the first day of employment.

Job Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs routine and advanced electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This role includes conducting a variety of neurodiagnostic studies, monitoring patient activity, and assisting physicians during specialized neurological testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex EEG procedures, including evoked potentials, EMU monitoring, continuous EEG (cEEG), and ambulatory video EEG
  • Monitor and ensure proper placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth, and strip electrodes
  • Assist with specialized procedures such as WADA testing and cortical stimulation
  • Observe and document patient responses and clinical events during testing
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper preparation before and during procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support diagnostic outcomes

Work Schedule:

Required Qualifications:

  • Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time EEG experience

  • Knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment and procedures
