Location: Portland, OR
Sign-On Bonus:
$8,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions of payment, in addition to a comprehensive benefits and compensation package starting on the first day of employment.
Job Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs routine and advanced electroencephalographic (EEG) procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions. This role includes conducting a variety of neurodiagnostic studies, monitoring patient activity, and assisting physicians during specialized neurological testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex EEG procedures, including evoked potentials, EMU monitoring, continuous EEG (cEEG), and ambulatory video EEG
- Monitor and ensure proper placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth, and strip electrodes
- Assist with specialized procedures such as WADA testing and cortical stimulation
- Observe and document patient responses and clinical events during testing
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper preparation before and during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support diagnostic outcomes

Required Qualifications:
- Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time EEG experience
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
