Job DescriptionCustomer Care Coordinator Job at a Glance

  • Location: Elgin, IL
  • Contract: W2 only, up to 2 years (based on business needs and performance)
  • Pay: $21/hr + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact for internal and field project management teams for EEC SI demonstrations and customer visits.
  • Communicate dates and manage schedules with Motorola and customer contacts.
  • Manage customer visits end-to-end, including:
    • Scheduling conference rooms
    • Arranging meal requirements
    • Coordinating tours
    • Communicating details of local and Chicago events/attractions
    • Greeting customers and Motorola teams
  • Support unique projects such as:
    • Updating organizational brochures
    • Marketing information (including videos)
    • Generating presentations
  • Perform general administrative functions.
  • Position includes aspects of facility management.
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed to fulfill the customer experience requirement.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • 1-2 years of experience working with customers and coordinating/scheduling customer events
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor; professional appearance and attitude
  • Face-to-face customer interaction experience (not only phone-based support)

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in Oracle tools (plus)
  • Microsoft products knowledge (nice-to-have)
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Experience handling customer visas/immigration paperwork
  • Experience preparing presentations and presenting
  • Graphic design experience
