Inventory Control Manager | Wyoming, MI
Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Oversee daily cycle counting and periodic physical inventory processes to maintain high accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions and root cause analysis.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
- Manage and maintain inventory data integrity within the ERP/WMS system.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure efficient material flow.
- Lead, train, and mentor the inventory control team to achieve departmental goals.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management best practices, including demand forecasting, stock optimization, and cycle counting methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for inventory optimization.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certification.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies or WMS implementation projects.
