Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Oversee daily cycle counting and periodic physical inventory processes to maintain high accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions and root cause analysis.
  • Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability for production.
  • Manage and maintain inventory data integrity within the ERP/WMS system.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the inventory control team to achieve departmental goals.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to optimize inventory levels and reduce carrying costs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management best practices, including demand forecasting, stock optimization, and cycle counting methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for inventory optimization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certification.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies or WMS implementation projects.
