Rhode Island's Premier Seafood Restaurant, Providence Oyster Bar, located on Federal Hill in Providence is searching for a Restaurant General Manager!
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

Ensure guests receive exceptional service and a positive, memorable dining experience.

Monitor compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and health department regulations.

Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of employees.

Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for food, beverages, and supplies.

Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Uphold cleanliness, organization, and operational standards throughout the restaurant.

Communicate effectively with ownership, staff, and vendors.

Provide exceptional service and support to staff as needed.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Uphold the company's policies and procedures.
-
All other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory and/management experience
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong leadership and team building skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with administrative responsibilities such as POS management, payroll, inventory, ordering, etc.
- Experience managing budgets, labor costs, inventory, food cost controls, etc.
