Position Details:Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5E
Location: Our facility - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Sign-On Bonus:
- Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000
- New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000
Role Overview:
This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care. The RN will maintain accountability for the care provided to assigned patients, assess the effectiveness of care from other caregivers, and coordinate patient care with other departments. Upholding patient rights and confidentiality is essential, and all duties must align with our mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or have compact licensure, in accordance with state nursing board regulations.
Experience: Prior hospital experience is preferred and may be required based on the unit.
Certifications:
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: BSN is preferred
- Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications are preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in a specialty area or similar clinical environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to perform nursing duties
