Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serving multiple elementary schools in Bradenton, FL. The contract runs from immediately through May 29, 2026, with one assignment starting in March. Candidates will work on-site within a school district setting, supporting diverse early childhood and special education programs.
Assigned schools include Ballard Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, Harvey Elementary, and Abel Elementary, each with unique caseloads comprising Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms, Early Special Education Pre-K (ESE PK), and integrated pre-K units. Caseload sizes and schedules vary, with three full-time and one part-time openings available.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Florida SLP license required
- Masters degree preferred; candidates with bachelors will be considered
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) not accepted at this time
- Experience working with early childhood and special education populations beneficial
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy services within a school setting to identified students
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to deliver individualized intervention plans
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring aligned with district policies
- Documenting services and maintaining compliance with educational and therapeutic standards

- Contract duration: ASAP start through 5/29/2026; one placement begins in March
