As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers high-quality care to patients in a 34-bed unit. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient types, including those undergoing orthopedic procedures and total joint replacements. Your expertise in administering specific cardiac medications and experience with EPIC EMR will be highly valued.
- Provide compassionate care to patients with orthopedic and total joint replacement needs
- Administer medications, including cardiac IV/intravenous push, as required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float across multiple campuses as needed to support patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC EMR
- Work every 3rd weekend, including holiday rotations
Requirements:
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- Ortho/Rehab experience required
- Experience with total joints replacement and braces required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license required
- AHA or ARC BLS certification required
