We’re hiring a Medical Biller and Coder to support revenue cycle operations for a busy healthcare practice. This role is responsible for accurate coding, timely claim submission, and follow up to ensure clean billing and strong cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Submit claims to commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve discrepancies
• Post payments and adjustments
• Verify insurance, benefits, and authorizations as needed
• Work closely with front office and clinical teams to resolve billing issues
• Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements
Qualifications
• Prior experience in medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of ICD 10, CPT, and insurance claim processes
• Familiarity with EMR and billing software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage volume and meet deadlines
