Job Location:
This is a hybrid position, with the ability to work in Washington, DC 3 days a week.
Clearance:
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Job Description:
In this position as a Senior Manager of Financial Systems, you will act as a liaison between end-users and the development team, ensuring that system requirements are clearly defined, documented, and implemented accurately. You will also:
- Meet with customers to document requirements for system changes
- Create detailed functional analysis documents to guide system development
- Serve as a liaison during development, clarifying requirements and assisting developers
- Conduct initial functional validation testing to confirm system changes meet documented needs
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure customer sign-off
- Provide support and training for users to ensure successful adoption of system changes
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting federal financial systems.
- 5+ years of system development and lifecycle management experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing or supporting software from PMO, FMO, and developer perspectives within civilian agencies.
- 2+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and managing system requirements in a federal environment.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with core financial systems such as UFMS, CFRS, and FBIS (Oracle-based).
- Experience with SQL and the ability to write and modify queries.
- Understanding of basic programming concepts and software development processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $215,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
