We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered office, recognized as the Best Dental Practice in Howard County for the past 11 years. Since our establishment in 1993, we have built a strong reputation for excellence in dental care and patient satisfaction.
Our practice features a collaborative environment with two experienced dentists and a team of four skilled hygienists; all committed to providing exceptional care. We pride ourselves on running an efficient practice with a dedicated hygiene assistant, ensuring that our team can focus solely on our patients.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist with various procedures and maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
Candidates must possess a current X-ray certification and a strong background in general dentistry. We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, and capable of communicating effectively with patients and team members. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow are essential traits for success in our practice.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our office culture is defined by teamwork and a shared commitment to delivering quality dental care. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
- Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
- Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
