  • VET: Our full-service veterinary practice provides comprehensive wellness care, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, along with advanced diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasonography, and in-house laboratory services. We take pride in delivering exceptional care to every patient.
  • STAY: Our boarding services for cats and dogs provide a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment while owners are away. We understand the importance of peace of mind and are committed to ensuring every pet is well cared for. With on-site veterinary services available, owners can feel confident knowing their pets have access to medical care if needed.
  • PLAY: Our daycare services for dogs feature newly designed play yards with 10,000 sq. ft. of K9Grass, providing the ideal space for pets to socialize, exercise, and play in a safe and supervised environment.

What We Are Looking For Pet Village of Brentwood is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVMT) to join our growing practice. This is a unique role that offers a slightly different experience from a traditional clinic, with a strong emphasis on boarding and daycare alongside veterinary services. Requirements:

  • Tennessee Veterinary Technician License (LVMT) in good standing, or eligibility to apply/receive upon hire
  • New graduates of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program are welcome to apply
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Strong technical skills and clinical knowledge
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of care for patients and clients
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgeries, anesthesia, and recovery.
  • Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
  • Provide nursing care, including monitoring patients and administering medications under veterinary guidance.
  • Perform technical duties such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, lab work, radiographs, and dental procedures.
  • Prepare for and assist with surgical procedures and other veterinary treatments
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date medical records.
  • Educate clients on pet health, medications, treatments, and wellness programs.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment, including exam rooms, treatment areas, labs, and equipment.
  • Help care for, treat, and monitor pets in boarding and daycare, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Support smooth clinic workflow and positive patient flow, collaborating with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, reception and kennel staff.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members when needed.
  • Follow all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure exceptional patient care and client experiences.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, typically 35–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
