Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Massachusetts, requiring 2 years of critical care experience, an MA RN license in hand, and willingness to float to PCU.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Hospital ICU setting with float responsibilities to the PCU as needed
- Ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring are core components of this role
- 36 or 48 hour weekly schedules available
- Block scheduling is not available for this position
- Meditech Expanse is the EMR used; prior experience strongly preferred
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; scheduling requests will not be approved after an offer is extended and may result in a rescinded offer
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
- Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — no exceptions
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of current critical care experience required
- Willingness to float to PCU is required
- Proficiency with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring required
- Must have personal reliable transportation — this is a firm requirement
- BSN preferred
- TNCC preferred
