Position Summary:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring finished products meet company and customer specifications. This role involves performing inspections, verifying measurements, maintaining documentation, and supporting production quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Main Duties:
- Inspect final products to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy
- Audit production lines and document key production parameters
- Perform pallet inspections and complete inspection reports
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry records
- Perform minor touch-ups as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow supervisor instructions and all safety regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret spec sheets, purchase orders, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for the full shift
- Ability to kneel, bend, and use step ladders or stools
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
