Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation – Missouri

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Independence, Missouri

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend; block scheduling available upon request

Highlights:

• 16-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit with all private patient rooms designed as dedicated rehab suites
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with PCT support when census reaches 8 or above
• Meditech 5.6 EMR system; modern equipment including Sara Steady lift, Hoyer lift, and Alaris Pumps
• One-week comprehensive orientation included to ensure success and quality care delivery
• Quality performance metrics exceed national benchmarks (PEM Quality metric currently at 83.8)
• Work alongside experienced nursing staff with 4+ years of RN experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• Inpatient acute rehabilitation experience preferred, including familiarity with FIM and CARE Tool measures
• Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Ability to perform wound care, line insertion, blood and antibiotic administration
