Data Entry Clerk III – Hybrid
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN (3 Days in Office)
Job Type: Contract (3–4 months)
Pay Range: $20–$25 per hour (W2)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk III to support fleet asset management operations for a leading organization. This role involves maintaining accurate records of equipment and vehicle assets, preparing documentation for sales and transfers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and capable of working independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update spreadsheets tracking available equipment, trailers, and vehicles for sale or transfer.
- Partner with Operations Managers to verify asset status, identify surplus equipment, and update records accordingly.
- Provide accurate lists of available assets to support bi-weekly internal communications.
- Prepare transfer and sale paperwork for manager approval.
- Enter and update asset transfer data into fleet systems to ensure accuracy of records.
- Collaborate with accounting, compliance, and maintenance teams to validate information.
- Assist with title and licensing documentation in coordination with internal teams.
- Support additional fleet asset management tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filtering, formatting, formulas).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with operations staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience in fleet, operations, or asset management support preferred but not required.
Work Schedule
- Hybrid role – must be able to work onsite at least 3 days per week in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
