We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Marine Division's service operations. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in team leadership, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of service delivery, from inspections and maintenance to project coordination, ensuring compliance with industry standards and marine-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a skilled group of inspectors, technicians, and coordinators. Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to ensure excellence in safety and service.
  • Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Review inspection reports, monitor service activities, and maintain adherence to regulatory standards and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate installation projects, review contracts, manage RFIs and change orders, and ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and supporting sales efforts when needed.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and enforce compliance with occupational health and marine-specific safety standards.
  • Monitor technological advancements and regulatory changes, integrating best practices into operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in service operations, preferably in fire and life safety or marine environments.
  • Strong understanding of inspection, maintenance, and installation processes for fire and life safety systems.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and manpower effectively.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Familiarity with marine regulations and NFPA standards is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project documentation and contract interpretation.
